During this holiday season, the Rebuild Campaign team would like to remind you that the Parents, Students, and Teachers of Mountain View Elementary collaboratively and strongly BELIEVE that our school MUST be REBUILT! We hope you enjoy the following mnemonic based on the seven reasons to VOTE for a Rebuild of Mountain View Elementary:
B uildings are arranged haphazardly, have crumbling walls, and suffer from repetitive leaks
E conomic Benefit from the land sale to Cobb County School District is needed during the current education budget shortfall
L ooking out for the Safety of our children is imperative - from loading dock/crosswalk issues to students outside of our safety zone
I ntersection congestion causes dangerous Traffic concerns every school day, especially during the morning commute
E fficient use of CCSD funds would reduce the 200% increase in maintenance spend - remediations are simply too costly
V ote with the support of the PTA, the School Council, the Foundation, East Cobb Businesses, and GA and Cobb County leaders
E liminate poor air quality by providing a healthy environment for Cobb County students to learn
Thank you for your time and service to Cobb County. We would especially like to thank you for all you are doing to voice your concerns about the tax abatements under consideration that would deplete tax revenue and would further complicate the Cobb County public school budget deficit.
Warmest Regards for a relaxing holiday...
